Perth 6th - City tour

Perth 6th - City tour 24-07-2006 (Monday, rain 7C)

This morning, it started to rain. I went to the supermaket to buy some food for my lunch and dinner. Eating out is very expensive even you take the fast food. It cost about AUS$8.00 - $10.00 per set. (only Chips & fish)

At about 10:00am I went to the King's Park. It was raining while I was in the King's Park. I stayed in the park. I decided to have my picnic lunch in the King's Park.

after that, I went back to the city, and walked around the shopping center in the Perth City. All of the goods were very expensive. So, I can only have a window shopping.

Tomorrow, I will go to the Red center of Austalia, Ayers Rock.

I met three guides in Australia, they all told me that Ayers Rock is very beautiful and really a apecial place.

Ayers Rock - the red center, please wait for me... I am coming...

It was sunny on Sunday. We all total 7 people joined the day tour to Wave Rock. It took a long time to drive form Perth to Wave Rock, nearly five hours.

(York)
York - At historic, the first township founded in the Avon Valley. We can enjoy the wonderfully preserved turn of the century Victorian buildings and gain insight into grand old pioneer days.

Dog cemetery - A famous route stop, a tribute to Australian working sheep dogs.

Hyden - A small town which the people called it - Home of Wave Rock!

Hippo's Yawn - It is the unique rock just as similar as a hippo's mouth.

(Wave Rock)

Wave Rock - It is the unique rock of 15 meter high, 100 meter width. It was said that the Rock should be vertical at the very begining, but after many thousnads of years, it became in curved shaped.
Estimated at being an increbible 2,700 million years old, the rock has over time been sculptured by nature into the form of a huge breaking wave. Because of the unusual natural rock formation shaped.

I really cannot wonder how and what 's the power of the natural!

Perth 4th - city tour

Perth 4th city tour - 22nd July 2006 (Sat) 7C mostly sunny

The Perth Mint, The Swan Bells (Bell Tower), Swan River (jetties) Barrack / Mands street (by ferry) & Fremantle (by train)

I made a city tour today! Last night, I came back to Perth city already about 10:00 p.m. So, I decided not to go to the day tour anymore.

The Perth Mint - is Australia's leading precious metals house, as well as being the nation's oldest operation mint and its specialist precious metal mint. After the guide tour, I brought a metal coin for myself.

The Swan Bells - It's about time, is an exciting new collection for you to see at the Swan Bells. You also can view The Perth City from the angle of 360 while you were at the Swan Bells.

Swan River - Barrack jetty / Mands jetty - cross the Swan River by ferry, to and from Barrack / Mands street , only 7 minutes across the river. But the fee is a bit higher!!(AU$2.80 one way per adult)

Fremantle - you can go there by ferry or by train. By train is the faster transportion go there. It takes only half an hour there by train. The train is as similar as the MTR in Hong Kong. On Saturadys and Sundays, many people came there to enjoy thier pubs. I really can feel their free time while I am over there.

It can set me free over there!! Come and let's have a drink!! Cheers

Perth - 3rd 21-07-2006 Friday (cloudy) 7C

Margaret River & Leeuwin Lighthouse tour

I joined the Margaret river tour today. Including wine testing at Xanadu Winery, Eagles Heritage, coastal views, Mammonth Cave, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse , and the Busselton Jetty.

Margaret River, known as one of Australia's finest wine regions.

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, a geographical point of significance marking the dividing point between the Southern & Indian Oceans.

Busselton - The Jetty, here marvel at this 2 KM construction, the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere. It has a small railway and still can be in use. Here really a long way to walk along the Jetty. I only walked half of it, because time was up. I had to go back to Perth city. It was about 9:30 p.m. at night.

What a romance tour to take a dinner at Jetty. I really love it!!
